Chef José Andrés Provides over One Million Meals To Puerto Ricans.
If you’re a Fannibal, you may have heard the name José Andrés before. He is, along with Janice Poon, responsible for the fantastic food in the Hannibal series.
These past weeks since the devastation of Puerto Rico, Chef José Andrés has been working non-stop to provide well over a million meals to the population of a country in dire need of assistance.
This man is just an absolute hero, and as a chef myself it’s damn humbling to watch someone like this take his position and act on a humanitarian crisis.
If you’re able to help, please consider donating to his relief efforts in Puerto Rico through https://www.worldcentralkitchen.org/donate
I donated 100 dollars, please do what you can. We can’t do everything all of the time but we can do what we can, when we can.
I know we’re a great and compassionate fandom, I hope this post helps sending a few donations their way.

Every day is yoga day in my book. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations, or whirlings, of the mind" Pantajali ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You don't need to be a super fancy yogi with cool yoga pants or complicated poses. Practice befriending your mind and being kind to yourself and others...That's yoga! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This picture was taken in Guatemala a few months before the explosion of the Volcan de Fuego. Thousands of families have lost loved ones and their livelihoods. We can help by dedicating our yoga practice (and good thoughts) to those affected by the volcano and/or donating to @wckitchen. @wckitchen brings home-cooked meals to families affected by natural disasters in Guatemala and Puerto Rico.
