a little scene that is placed sometime after the story Avardace falls. (For Dio and Cheil belong to @nekophy. )
Ava just sat there and drank her coffee. The morning just ended up being a new normal but the current house guest seemed a little out of it. It was part of a lesson plan she promised to give for those who didn't seem to quite fit in their roles.
Though with Dio all she had was the extreme urge to feed him every time he showed up.
Here I thought making pancakes would be enough for today.
Dio was still eating his pancakes but his attention was more on the scene in the corner. Grey was currently catching up with the times trying to imitate songs from something called Friday night funken. It was quite good to watch the eldritch use that guitar.
Ava sighed as she finished her coffee. “Just finish your breakfast and let him have this.”
It's good to see. At least Grey is still finding ways to enjoy himself.
Dio just paused before beginning to finish the rest of his pancakes. Cheil took the moment to jump up on the table. "When are we going to do things? This is just all too weird."
Ava chuckled a bit at the stuffed toy. “You call this weird and yet your also a talking stuffed toy.”
The rabbit almost turned red but held back a little. There was a silent truce between them since she had gotten Dio to eat other things. Still, she did say she was going to teach the two of them some things.
“I swear, it isn’t always like this, it’s just something Grey wanted to do. Though if you want a lesson here is one. Sometimes it’s just fine to let a little chaos into your day.” Ava looked over to Grey with almost a sense of nostalgia.
A part of me almost missed all of this. Just a part.
Cheil just huffed for a moment before looking at Dio. "Just what the hell is in those pancakes?!"
Dio just had the look of sheer bliss. It seems she has finally figured out a favorite. She smirked as she took another sip of her coffee.
“Their chocolate chip pancakes.”
Cheil just huffed as he sat back down. "Yeah, that explains everything. For someone who says they're not a villain, you sure play dirty."
Those two have no idea what they are in for.
