Another day in chem class, we were looking at the period table. Our teacher was explaining how the noble gases basically didn't react to anything. He was talking about how the way he remembers is by imagining that the noble gases are really pompous pricks.

Chemistry Class Storytime!

Okay, so one day in my chem class, we were learning about ionic bonds. Nearing the end of class, we had this activity where we were assigned an element with 1, 2, 6, or 7 valence electrons and needed to find an element that we could bond with.

I raised my hand and asked the teacher, "So we're doing a bonding exercise?"

He paused, threw his head back, and sighed. Then he told me that he was stealing my joke.

While we were playing the game, I heard him say, "I think I created the most convoluted dating game ever."
