AU idea : After Vox is defeated in S2, he grows as a character. His reputation is ruined. The Vees left him and all his followers too. He has nothing left.

Alastor wanted to see him after a while (not that he missed him lmao) and was surprised he wasn't the same as before.

I would like to imagine Alastor misses the obsession Vox had. He never liked him, but he liked having the control on him, whether he was there or not. He was always in Vox's mind. I mean, 70 years passed, or more if we count the years they were friends, Alastor was used to Vox being on his radar so not having his presence bothers him. But he would never admit that.
