@teabiscs requested the Baihuzu team in those Adidas CNY exclusive track jackets so I made an illustration of them all.
True enough, those do look really good on them.

some more fruit (+ one veggie because it felt more russian than a fruit) commissions for @ksmaggie ! this was my first time drawing rai actually hahaa
Here’s my piece for @beybladezine! I got Autumn and decided to go with the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. I did the simplest lanterns ever because they’re quite easy to draw, tho I came across a lot of beautiful designs while I searched for references.

One thing I like about Beyblade character design is that the most threatening characters aren't always the biggest.
Like the only one of the Byakko clan who's never seen as "bad" in himself is Gaou, who's the biggest one.
And it's similar with Sergei, who's the only one of the Russians that doesn't seem to enjoy doing evil things.
And on the contrary, the most scary characters in the whole first season are Yuriy and Boris, and Yuriy is a bishounen and Boris is short and kind of physically cute.
And in the cute scary team there's Max, whose wit and skills scared Kyouju at first. Or basically any of the girls.
We also have Kiki, who's almost the tiniest character (maybe Ivan is shorter?) and he's the first real danger the BBA team faces.
Rai isn't precisely tall either and he's somewhat scary sometimes.
Even Emily fits here to a lesser extent, because she doesn't fight any official battle, but she's small, strong and scarily smart.
And then there's Johnny, who's presented as basically an angry dwarf who can beat Kai without a great effort, when Kai hadn't been beaten before, except by Takao who won by luck... And that makes Johnny even scarier than Ralf, because Ralf could utterly destroy Takao, but that's not so much of a great deal because Takao's never presented as unbeatable, while Kai is (nearly at least). (Then we learn Ralf can sweep the floor with him and this changes of course).
Smol people are dangerous here~
With all these posts about Rai i just realized I find weirdly attractive not only him, but also Ralf, Boris, Claude, Rick, Sergei and Ivan.
Which means I like characters with big noses lol
But Ralf. Seriously. Burn your white jacket or whatever it is that thing you wear in s1. Stop wearing that. It's hideous.
And Boris, please treat your back right and stop hunching, you stress it and distress me.
Rai's face everytime Kiki opens his mouth is hilarious.
