Happy Beyblade Day!!

Finally I can share “the full set” of drawings, I spent days with the Borg’s one that was drawn with watercolors, but I liked how it turned out.

These drawings are not meant to appeal for for popular characters, but rather to share my love for the bakuten series and my favorite team, Borg 🖤

MAYBLADE DAY 6 - Prompt: Unpopular Character 📉

SUPER DUPER LATE MayBlade post, but unfortunately drawing that pose correctly took me so much time between corrections and rendering 😭😭😭 (The Day 7 drawing is almost done btw I just have to finish rendering, but I'll do that later bc I need to rest after working on this one 😅😩)

Anyway, I think there are much more unpopular characters than Ivan, but I chose to draw him bc he's the one that among all I wished had more screen time 😅

I tend to imagine that he is rarely on the battlefield; instead, he is in some transport taking care of surveillance or the arsenal.

The color palette is primarily green and purple, although I've tried to incorporate shades of white, salmon, and light blue.

Day 1 of MayBlade and Mermay~

I forgot how I coloured tails, so Ivan was my experiment. I like it :D So much stippling of the scales, but it's worth it to get the right amount of shading and highlighting.

THE GREAT BEYBLADE BAKE OFF! AND THE WINNER IS...✧˖°.

My take on this: Ian replaces the sugar container with salt for the BBA team and he attempts to do the same for the girls, but Emily predicted he'd do something like that so she has a back up ready. Kai does not notice that he's whipping salt instead of sugar so despite of Rei's best efforts to make the perfect dessert, BBA team ends up with a bad score. Ian assumes that no one else will have the idea to sabotage the ingredients like him, but Emily being two steps ahead replaces their butter cream with mayonnaise! Needless to say that while this version of a strawberry shortcake is hit with Max, Tala and his Gremlins get a bad score too, which Tala blames on Daichi (since he's the "outsider" in this situation and Ian comes out of this whole thing unscathed).

The girls win the bake off, but Hilary feels bad about her favourite boys' hardwork going to waste, so she shares her part of the prize goodies with the whole BBA team.
