It’s almost time for the fandom event of the year! Chenford Week is back! Can you believe it’s our 7th one? This event started out in 2020 with just a handful of fics and has grown into one big celebration for our beloved couple. Whether you’re new to the fandom, or have been watching since the pilot aired in 2018, all are welcome to participate!
Chenford Week 2026 will be a 10-day event starting Friday, July 10, through Sunday, July 19. Each day will have 2-3 prompts that cover a wide variety of topics. The goal is simply to create and have fun: fanfics, gifsets, video edits, fan art, etc., based on the prompts provided. Whatever you feel inspired to do, we can’t wait to see it!
Everyone should use #chenfordweek26 during the event to ensure your creation gets added to the masterlists. There will be a Chenford Week 2026 collection on AO3 as well.
Read on for a few guidelines and the list of prompts:
You can participate as little or as much as you want. There is no obligation to do something for all 10 days, but you are more than welcome to!
Prompts can be combined for that particular day only. Please do not mix prompts from different days, as that can get confusing.
Any works created or generated by AI will not be included in the masterlists. The goal is for YOU to create!
Remember to use #chenfordweek26 across social media platforms and the Chenford Week 2026 collection on A03. It will open on the first day of the event.

Day 3: Something’s Missing Day
Incorrect dialogue (tumblr posts, tweets, etc.) or scenes you wish we’d seen
Missing moment or underrated moment
Amnesia, missing pet/person, missing object/ring, etc.
Day 4: Happy Hawley-Day
Inspired by a song that came out in the past year
Holiday themed (either canon or in fic)
Relationship milestones/firsts
Day 5: Love Languages Day
The original love languages (physical touch, words of affirmation, giving/receiving gifts, acts of service, quality time)
Create your own love languages, Chenford edition (ex: “pranking as a love language”, “sparring as a love language”)
Had to go with the getting ready montage for the Chenford date because I love scenes like this in movies & so for it to be done so well on a TV show was great!! I know it’s not like anything profound, it’s just fun and something cool they did differently for Chenford’s POV about their first date.
