Zero Tolerance

There comes a time, and you will see it when it comes. You will see it. When it comes you will see it. But you won’t expect it when it happens. People will always want what you have but make it anyway. People will always curse your ground. But Till it anyway. People will mock you. The insane will obsess over you. The haughty will look down at your shoes. The old will wonder who your spouses are, and the young will not care of your name or form. The last of the one’s who remember you will probably do so with a guilty conscious, but the ones that really loved you will care not what you do with yourself or your time. These quite ones are your friends.

I wanted to be the change I needed to see. It is not easy trying to pull yourself out of a dark place, let alone doing it all by yourself. No real connections with anyone because you haven’t been anywhere to grow these relationships. I never needed a wing man with me but when you’re finally coming out of the dark place, support is desired. . . So I went to my first official event #Summit called #StillStanding and that’s because I randomly came across @twowordstory_mindsetmovement stories and she had a code for a discount for a ticket and her personality was just so infectious, she was the real reason why I made the decision to go to this event. Let me just say that @stillstandingtogether summit set the bar for what I expect most summits to be, it was well organized, color coded, @danieladoeswhat did one hell of a job putting together this well needed space for women battling through mental health. Her vulnerability and her authenticity was so real. I felt it, I connected with her and I support her movement! As much as I have so many women I want to praise, this post is mainly about one in particular. Her name is Alia. . . I met Alia at this event, and she later invited me to a girl night event, she didn’t know it the. But I suffer from severe social anxiety in unfamiliar area, but you could not tell! She is a bubble of energy and was introducing me to everyone! I could barely keep up! But we finally got a chance to slow down, and sit down to eat, and really got to know each other and those surrounding us. We started to get extra spiritual and that’s when I knew this was my group, these gals were my people. You can’t talk spiritually with just anyone without someone feeling weird out. . . Alia, is the type of person who you genuinely just want to support because you see in her heart she means well, and she genuinely want to support you and your endeavors! She’s a woman of all trades literally does a million and one things, but most importantly she spreads herself out to ensure that you don’t feel like you don’t matter.
