The Au Ra swayed his tail for a moment before he gave a slightly nod “Well, it depends but I usually try and celebrate the ones that I know of. Sometimes I end up missing the celebrations though so while I try my best… life happens.” he chuckled out softly letting out a wistful sigh “When I do get the chance I will always try and spend them with those that I love and cherish. If there’s some sort of grand display I’ll always try and watch it with my companions.” a gentle smile crossed Jacques’ lips as he said that “Like with the recent Moonfire Faire and the Fireworks displays.”

@chernovier - Thank you so much for the ask! It’s a nice, short and sweet one here. Jacques usually tries to celebrate the Holidays when he can and when he’s not… off doing things by himself. If he does celebrate them it’s usually with those he loves and cherishes or very close friends that he’s met. The big events he’ll always make time for are usually ones like the Moonfire Faire, All Saints’ Wake and of course the Starlight Festival. He also certainly enjoys others… especially Valentione’s because… he enjoys surprising his loved ones and showing just how much he loves them. **Disclaimer - This information is all subject to change** Freja (surname pending*) is from a small village in the Skatay Range. She’s an only child, and her mother was the village elder.

Freja was, from a very young age, expected to become the next elder after her mother passed and carry on the village’s ways. Freja was incredibly eager to do this as a kit, and attended her lessons daily, but as she got older her mother and her drifted apart some. She became much more of a tomboy, and became an incredibly successful huntress. She had dreams of joining the males one day and valiantly protecting their people from outsiders. Naturally, her mother forbade such a thing and Freja realised she would never have the opportunity to do what she truly wanted. She would continue her domestic/magical studies with her mother, sneaking away frequently to practice her archery and swordsmanship.

Merida is a huge inspiration for Freja in her younger years!

Andelaux definitely feels there are a lot of things that still need to improve, specially in his own homeland. He’s an adamant supporter of helping to bring the lowborn and highborn to a better place of understanding each other and generally just helping those in need however he can. As far as the outside world goes he’s a little less experienced on what all is going on, though he would likely feel similarly in regards to any form of injustice or imbalance in power structures and those with power abusing it if he saw them.

Rose doesn’t care too much about politics, tends to just kinda put it out of her mind. She’s been around long enough to know the world is full of good and bad, and that sometimes you need both to keep things ticking. As it is, she just wants to do her own thing and enjoy her life however she see’s fit, though that doesn’t stop her from playing hero every chance she gets to save those in need when she comes across them. But that’s more a personal thing then a big picture thing. 

Hitsu honestly doesn’t care. Unless it effects her in some way or she’s being paid to do something she probably doesn’t even notice what’s going on around her, specially on a bigger picture scale. That said, she’s not a huge fan of authority or people with a lot of power, specially if it’s used to put down people beneath them, and will very quickly be the first to stand up to it should it be seen around her, specially if directed at her. Woe to the pompous fool who tries to throw his weight around her.

10. Do you tend to write more romantic ships, or more platonic and familial ships?

While I can write romance, most of my romantic writing is pretty subtle and down to earth stuff. I’ve talked about how I value organic and natural development when it comes to my characters and their feelings towards others, so there’s not usually a lot of rose petals and stars flinging about my stories when it comes to romance. XD

I feel very strongly towards the value of platonic and familial relationships and work to develop those as thoroughly as possible. Most of the ‘ships’ I write will be platonic.  

In my world, platonic relationships have to exist before a romantic relationship can. Platonic relationships are powerful because they have the potential to transform into something more, but the foundation needs to be there first!

I’m a big fan of psychological horror movies and creepy stories. I don’t scare super easy, and tend to enjoy that uneasy feeling that lingers and makes you think. 

I can’t think of any one movie that scared me most - I think sometimes real life is scarier than horror movies. ^^;

((I agree! It’s fun, but it can also wear you out as a writer, and it takes a bit of forethought. There’s some days I don’t even try to RP for Amon because it takes more mental investment than I have at that time to do it justice. XD 

When I’m writing RP replies, sometimes I know how to approach a response immediately, but other times I need some time to really think about different angles. Also, Amon’s sense of humor doesn’t always mesh well with everyone else, so I try to be careful not to offend!))

This made me laugh/cry

My issue is a mix of a different IBD and I had some of my digestive track removed along with a tumor so I have a different problem with wheat than the actual gluten part but gluten free baking and bread and prodcuts tends to remove wheat entirely so it’s safe for me (though I make my own bread and most of everything I eat). 

Going vegan (while not eating some of the things that are vegan that I can’t eat such as wheat, raspberries, avocados, garlic above a certain amount, kiwis, onions, certain raw vegetables, etc.) has helped me immensely though. So long as I cook for myself... Ordering food and eating out is still hard for me cuz trace amounts of the random things that just mess me up.

BUT BUT BUT

I do love staring at cakes and baked goods and things I can’t eat. My sister asked me once why I always say a cake or something looks good if it’s gonna make me sick and it’s like...girl, I can look at it and still think it looks good and not have to eat it haha

I may or may not watch ASMR baking videos on silent cuz I love how the desserts look >.> The sounds of baking are pretty disturbing tho ngl
