What should I watch?

Was just remembering how I used to watch Hannibal. Like, tune in to a weekly network show where someone would ask: "is your social worker in that horse?". Then his cannibal therapist who framed him for murder would be making Patrocleus/Achilles fanart of the 2 of them.

When that show ended, I started watching the Young Pope. In this show, Femen may or may not have killed the Pope's free range kangaroo. The Pope is this reactionary manchild who also might be performing real miracles? He's at a truck stop asking the Virgin Mary to strike down a nun and she DOES? He gives speeches that are equal parts heartbreaking and blandly cringe. Nuns play basketball. He DROPS A BABY and then says HIS HANDS ARE ONLY GOOD FOR PRAYING.

The point is, I still remember all this and more. It's been (almost) 10 years. Please, I need a new show with this energy. Wild and hilarious, yet taking itself seriously at the same time. Or is it that I've changed? The shows keep coming, but the person who could obsess and marvel and laugh is no longer here.
