Thinking about Young Pope again rn and how Lenny kinda denies his ability to perform miracles because I am imagining that after he cures Billy's mother he prays with that same fervency for his parents to come back and they never do and like this is Mr. Lenny "I won't settle for anything in life" Belardo being denied again and again to perform the one miracle he wants more than anything else but is able to both heal and harm so severely with just a prayer

This stupid show and Lenny in general just make me feel so tender like someone is beating my heart with a meat mallet to make a delicious meal
