Cottage at the junction of Clifton Road and Cherry Tree Road North in 1957 and 2025.
The Welcome pub at the Vicarage Lane & Cherry Tree Road junction in 1995 & 2009.
Today the pub is called The Cherry Tree.
At the junction of Preston New Road and Cherry Tree Road North stood the head offices of Telefusion (pictured in 1982), a successful company that rented out home entertainment products such as TV's, Video Recorders and Hi-Fi's back in the day.
Visionhire swallowed them up in 1987 (shutting down the head offices in the process), who themselves were acquired by Granada Television in 1993.
Today stands a large McDonalds restaurant and drive-thru with no remaining evidence of the fomer rental giants.
Built in 1979 as the Co-Op hypermarket off Cherry Tree Lane, Marton, it later became the Normid Hypermarket. Today it exists as "Big Asda" (as it is nearby a much smaller ASDA store, which is known locally as "Little Asda").
Where Vicarage Lane meets Cherry Tree Road, Marton, opposite The Welcome pub (which is now The Cherry Tree pub).
Unfortunately, the telephone box was removed in 2022.
