lowk if i say cherryace doesn’t start out romantically it’s all for the adrenaline rush… i honestly don’t even know if they ever really fall in love or even date. they both just enjoy what they get out of the other.
I feel like they would be insanely jealous of each other. Cherry is jealous of the way Ace is completely unafraid to be who she is and her careless nature allowing her to run amuck with a gang of guys. Ace is jealous of how everyone is automatically drawn to Cherry, who has “Daddy’s money” in her back pocket at all times. Jealous of her perfect teeth and bright red hair, her southerly sweet accent paired with a laugh that can only be described as alluring and feminine.
For Cherry, their “thing” they have going on is all about the adrenaline rush. Sneaking off whenever they can and hiding out together. The way her heart pounds and mind grows giddy with nerves is how she imagines getting buzzed must feel. Ace on the other hand, the thrill she gets out of it definitely plays a part as well. However, not as greatly as it does for the soc. Being a greaser, she is used to get her fair share of kicks in terrorizing the “great city of Tulsa” with the boys.
She enjoys feeling loved — even if the sentiment is not real or genuine. Cherry’s warm embrace encapsulating her as she wraps her dainty arms around Ace’s neck, hands tangling in her hair. The way her eyes flutter open when they pull away from each other’s lips before breaking into a soft fit of laughter, placing a delicate touch on her cheek. None of the boys from her side of Tulsa would treat her with such grace.
