I think that head canon is also bc even during the time of the Flood, Crowley finds killing distasteful, especially innocents, i.e. kids. Not a lot of time to “go native”, so that comes across as something intrinsic to Crowley’s nature. Therefore, to postulate his questioning of the Great Plan lies in the question of evil would align him with an angel associated with healing or with the protection of innocent life. At least that’s how I like to read it ��‍♀️

but....killing innocents in that scene is something that Almighty is doing. So it’s perfectly in his nature as a demon to question that? And you’re right, it is something intrinsic to his nature - he admits that in Episode 4. It was the reason he Fell. 

However.

The claim that because he questions good and evil he must be an Archangel, must be associated with healing and protection, must be somehow....secretly not-Fallen, is to misconstrue the entire purpose of the text.

Good Omens is, intrinsically, a story about the dangers of a black and white moral mindset. Heaven was just as ready to commit genocide as Hell was if it meant winning the war! The earth is saved by the son of Lucifer! It’s not exactly subtle about the Good Guys being humanity and not Heaven.

From a money standpoint it doesn’t make sense to me? DAI was their last big success. I dunno why they went all in on the untested new property instead of the tried and true one. Aside from a better platform to push microtransactions, which are already hated :/

But the bottom line is live service games make incredible bank no matter what brand they hide behind or how many physical/digital copies sell. Apparently micro-transactions alone make EA nearly $2 billion annually and accounts for the majority of its profit now. It’s ridiculous:

Turns out the anon was just mad that I called the Pavlova an Australian dish, not knowing I’m referencing a longstanding running gag between Aussie and Kiwi about how they each claim it. I’m well aware the first official pavlova as we know it cropped up NZ during the 1930s but was spotted in Australia earlier under a different name, and that it’s inspired by Russian dancer Anna Pavlova. Apparently the anon just decided to be super accusatory and obnoxious about a longstanding running joke. 

So they’re blocked now.
