Getting Started
After 60k words, a story needs to be shared, no matter what form that story takes. Such was our experience with The Yellow Brick Road, a slavestuck work that follows Sollux Captor and his friends in a post-game, ancestor-ridden Alternia.
The fic began as a paragraph-style rp between two characters, but it quickly grew in length, character count and complexity. After thousands of words and months of roleplaying ,we realized that what had begun as a fun way to pass the time had evolved into a fully fledged story. A fic-worthy story, in fact.
So we decided to share it with the world! We're editing the original role-play to make is more readable and have just started publishing on AO3. This blog allows for easy access to the chapters, writers, and the universe of The Yellow Brick Road.
We hope to encourage a community surrounding the project and accept questions, concerns, ficlets, fanart and anything else you can imagine, so please, read, interact and enjoy.
On a less happy note I've now also gotten the "Nepeta-player" anonhate thing, aswell as a pure random gamzee/tavros having sex message. So...yeah, thats a thing
So I have this rp with an amazing person, they actually sent an ask a while ago about our rp (we're roleplaying platonic DirkJade, and it's great!) but I haven't responded in over a month and I feel like such a terrible person. I honestly thought I had responded but I didn't and... Well I'm going to respond to it now, and hope that they are gracious enough to forgive me for it. They've kept the chat open so I'm glad that they haven't ended it yet. Now I'm going to go apologize to them profusely.
