Memes of the day #106 and #107
Those two PAWNS that just face eachother the whole game
Ponman (Black) Walk Sprites
Made some black chess piece Ponmen to go with the white ones used in-game. I thought it was kind of weird how they only used white chess pieces in-game, but I guess it makes sense design wise. Most of the backgrounds were black/darker colored, so they wouldn't have shown up as well. Plus it kind of fits with the idea that all of the games in the unused classroom are missing pieces.
These are free to use for fancharacters/fancomics/fangames/etc.! Just please link back here so that other people can find them

The long awaited chess update: we're adding cowboys
Some sketches of Argyle I almost forgot to post!!
Since Argyle's team is all based off of chess, I wanted them to all have black "pawn" theming to their MG designs (so I literally took a pawn piece and transformed it into an outfit).
I'm having a hard time deciding how I want to incorporate their primary colors- Like if they should be just the underskirt or the line art, or if they should have color-coordinated tights.
Remembered that I have this OC (gosh, I have a lot of OCs, I just don't post them a lot)
So here's a bit about how their face expressions work:
Usually you figure out their emotion/expression through the eye shapes, though sometimes a mouth can appear out of nowhere hahah
Idk about the pupils tho :_) Even if they can have pupils, it will probably be more rare than the mouth thing
.... Also did I tell you that they have a friend? :›
The Pawn
Amazing Computing February 1996
An extended look at a European 3D rendering program now available in the United States featured in this issue (with an opening digression on how the more vibrant European Amiga market was reacting to “the Commodore disaster”). The editorial enthused about “the Amiga Surfer,” an Amiga 1200 bundled with get-on-the-Internet software and hardware; comparing its $800 price to the idle talk of almost unexpandable “Internet boxes” for $500 (in MacUser, John C. Dvorak’s back-page column had recently insisted Apple ought to make one of them if it knew what was good for it), it concluded “Now you see why it is sometimes hard not to sound too positive about the Amiga’s future.”
