Imagine he would've been like another kind of Sanctus... like cmon. He's the founder of Dark Realm Command, private military under the parent company of Uroboros, and trusted right hand of Arius (trusted enough to be kept at his side at least). He's a religious fanatic, and he uses God as a shield to protect his image.
S3 honestly needs Baines because thats HIS environment (shit about paradiso, Martial Law, world is easily swayed and in ruins) THAT COULD HAVE BEEN HIS PRIME ENVIRONMENT BUT HE WAS KILLED IN S2 😭
