CHEZ PIERRE 🇫🇷❤️ // A French favourite in Perth. They do a rotating regional set menu for aud65pp on Tuesdays to Fridays and the current theme is Tour de France. Last night’s menu was week 3: Andorre-la-Vielle – Saint-Emillion. First course: Tarte aux Noix de Saint-Jacques Scallop tart, seared Shark Bay scallops served on creamed leeks and a crispy puff pastry tartlet, accompanied with spinach, asparagus, confit tomatoes, parsley coulis and finished with a dill beurre blanc sauce. Scallops were seared beautifully, paired with the crispy puff pastry and rich butter sauce. I didn’t even notice or mind the dill in the sauce. Just divine. Their imported French baguette bread is one of my favourite bread in Perth. We ordered escargots and Crepe Suzette on top of the regional set menu. Service here is exemplary as always - they even gifted an extra container of bread for us to take home after we asked to take away our leftover bread.
