A continuation/ sequel to my other fic
“Wait, what does your husband look like again?” Jane asked as she and Darcy waited in JFK airports for her husband.
“Jane, I told you. He’s a hottie with a rocking body.” Darcy said with relish. Man oh man! Darcy was practically vibrating, she was so excited.
Jane just eyed her intern/friend/bodyguard-thanks to that friggin Hydra-Ian- and thought perhaps that Darcy was exaggerating.
“They’re here!” Darcy squealed into Jane’s ear causing her to flinch. Jane shoved her friend away and followed the direction of her friend’s eyes.
Holy shit. Jane rubbed at her eyes because surely she had to be dreaming. A model looking man was slowly walking toward them. His unblemished skin seemed to glow under the florescent lights and his hair swayed freely. This man was so handsome. Yet, this ethereal man was not alone. He carried a little boy in one arm and held the hands of a little red haired girl.
While Jane Foster stood gaping in shock at the newcomers, Darcy dropped her stuff and ran to her little family.
“Thranduil!” Darcy wrapped her arms around her husband and showered both him and Legolas in kisses much to Legolas’s delight.
“Mama! I missed you so much!” Legolas happily cried out as he latched onto his mother. Darcy stumbled a bit under her son’s weight but tightly hugged him back.
“And I missed you too.” Darcy’s smile went tender as she glanced between her stoic husband and her son.
“Hey, frowning is gonna give you frown lines.” She teased Thranduil and pecked his lips when he turned that frown into a smirk.
“Time wouldn’t dare touch my face, Darcy.” Thranduil said with amusement.
Darcy rolled her eyes and then noticed something. Or rather someone hiding behind Thranduil’s legs. Someone who was peaking at her shyly. Someone who was dressed in the same manner as Darcy. Skirt, tights, boots, sweater and a scarf. But no beanie.
“And who is this?” Darcy let Legolas stand and crouched down to see the other little one.
“Tauriel,” Thranduil softly said to the girl, “It is rude to not introduce yourself.”
He gently pushed Tauriel towards Darcy.
“I am Tauriel Oropherion, miss.” Tauriel’s green eyes never left the floor which concerned Darcy but a shake of Thranduil’s head stopped her from asking about it.
Don’t think I won’t ask. Oropherion? Really? Darcy thought.
“And I am Darcy Lewis, nice to meet you Tauriel.” Darcy greeted warmly to the little girl.
Tauriel smiled, hestiantly at first until Legolas- who somehow got behind her- pushed her towards his mother. Mischievous little imp. The look of unadulterated horror made Darcy laugh, even as she fell backwards and got red hair in her mouth.
That’s how Jane found out about Darcy’s family. Two little kids piled on her while her husband around taking pictures. God....the Avengers would never believe this.
