New Art Blog!

Hi folks! Since I know I reblog *a lot* of things to my general chibisketches blog, I’ve been thinking about starting a blog just for art posts for a few months and now that Inktober is over, I have a nice clean starting point to do so. If you’d like to see my artwork, please follow this blog and you should see everything as it posts. (I will reblog to my regular chibisketches for a little while, to give people a chance to follow here if they want to) I won’t be deleting older art posts from my regular blog, so if you have anything shared, bookmarked, etc, from there, it won’t be going anywhere. I will just be posting new artwork to this blog instead. That way, anyone who wants to see all of my general reblogs can do so, but anyone who just wants to see the artwork can do that too.  Going forward, this is where my wordpress posts will appear, and where any other new artwork I might post will go up. (This might take me a few weeks to get used to, since I haven’t really used a sideblog for anything before, so please bear with me if there are a few hiccups.)

Painting Minis

I’m painting my brother’s MoM figures, and just finished up the first 4 :D I’m really pleased with how they’re coming out, especially since I’m fairly new to mini-painting.

Inktober 2020 #17 - Storm

I wasn’t sure what to draw for this at first, since I did Storm for last year’s Inktober and while I love the character, I didn’t really want to repeat what I’d already done. Then I got the suggestion to draw a druid calling up a storm, and for some reason my brain immediately went ‘it’s gotta be a hedgehog druid’. 

And so: it was.

If anyone is wondering, Inktobers are continuing to happen, but I swapped up to a bristol pad when my small sketchbook filled up, and it's dang near impossible to photograph those pages well with my phone. SO I'll be scanning and uploading them soon, but I've been busy the last few days and haven't had time (hence why I'd been using my phone up to this point).

Making resin pins! I have gone absolutely off the wall in love with resin! It's my new therapy. So much glittery and prettiness. I have a whole line of shaker charms I'm making. I'll be making more posts, later, but for now... ---- I'LL BE AT PROJECT A-KON IN DALLAS!!! I'm so excited for this weekend. Project A-kon was the first convention I ever attended. Where did you find this online store? All the nibs they sell now are crappy and wear out so fast. :p My old ones lasted forever before they wore out :p

CRAAAAAAAAP! I can't find the link to the store, nor is the store's info on the little baggy the nibs are stored in. I thought for sure I saved the confirmation email when I ordered them, but apparently I cleaned out my saved emails at one point too...;A; I HAVE FAILED YOU, FRIEND! I am so sorry. NO WAIT!
