He was double dead. First from the watergun fight and now murdered by the shoe killer. That wasn’t gonna stop him from walking around and talking to scaring people though! He crept up slowly behind the first year, waiting until he stood directly behind him before saying a word.

“Hinata, I can’t even SEE YOU!” Lev’s laughter rises high above the water, shoulders SHAKING at he catches glimpse of orange hair bobbing above WATER.

“Are you sure you wanna STAY in the water? It really wouldn’t be a GOOD start to the training camp if you drowned!”

"Kenma!" Hinata jumps excitedly in front of his friend, holding up a video game that he's been waiting for a long time to play. "I got a new game as an early birthday present! Come play it with me, it's no fun without someone to beat!" ( ty!!!)

     they take a small step back -- shouyou doesn’t have much concept of personal space, and it’s a little overwhelming, having him jump all around them. a new interest lights up their gaze, however, at the mention of a game; that’s better than what they were worried was going to happen, which was shouyou asking them to practice volleyball, which would inevitably lead to kenma being sweaty and tired from trying to keep up with shouyou on the court, and then they’d have to come up with an excuse to stop before they were a literal smear of sweat on the floor, because shouyou doesn’t stop on his own, and then shouyou would give them the eyes, the puppy ones, and they’d start feeling bad about not having the stamina of some kind of volleyball-playing demon, and--

     --anyway, playing video games is much more up their alley. “okay,” they agree, stowing their psp away in their bag. “i’ve played it before, though, so you probably won’t beat me.”
