Welcome back, Gerber/Hart! We're really excited about the reopening of this specialty library showcasing a really important part of Chicago cultural history.
Dear volunteers, artists, designers, and makers: Read/Write Library, a chicago non-profit entirely driven by volunteers, invites artists, illustrators, and designers to submit their work to help with a very unique fundraiser: We need a new library bicycle for outreach purposes (after our beloved BiblioTreka AKA Chicago Book Bike was stolen this summer) and will be launching an Indiegogo campaign in December. As part of our rewards and perks for donating to our cause, we’d like to offer tote bags, thank you cards, buttons, bookmarks and the like, but we want these items to be adorned with awesome original artwork of books, bikes, BiblioTrekas, and libraries from our community.
