Pleading for Guidance || Will & Hannibal
Jack had crossed a line, especially once he found out what he had asked of Abigail. It wasn't often Will got it in him to directly confront Jack about things. It was like a problem student trying to go up against the principal. He couldn't help himself though, enough anger had welled up inside the special investigator that he had exploded at the man.
It hadn't been pretty, a few people had just carefully backed away. He should have waited to talk to him in the privacy of his office. Doing it where other people were around had been his first mistake because it had only made Jack more defensive, as if he had to defend his seat of power.
Needless to say Will had lost the fight with a three day suspension from the case. It made him question how much of a resource he was if he could be dismissed so easily. Jack told him to get his head on straight before he came back. Maybe he really needed to. He was tired and worn down. He'd been hearing and seeing things. Maybe this all was a mistake. Maybe he should have left.
He had been intending to drive home, however while he was off contemplating his own mental state, muscle memory took him to Hannibal's residence. He furrowed his brow as he looked the extravagant house over. Perhaps he really needed to be him after all.
Exiting the car he paused outside vaguely wondering if he'd be interrupting anything. Well, he could always apologize and head home if needed. So he made his way up to the door, pressed the bell and settled his fingers in his jacket pockets while he waited for the door to be answered.
