Paws For Thought || Rick & Lily

As soon as Lily felt the first icy raindrop land on her arm, she knew she’d made a mistake choosing not to bring her umbrella. The dark clouds had threatened to spill rain all day, but only when she was walking home from the mines did the weather forecast prove to be true. Hoping it was just a light rain, she continued on into Mineral District, quickening her pace in hopes of making it home before the rain truly started.

But only a few minutes later, the rainfall was coming down heavy and fast, drenching the ravenette in freezing water. She had to find shelter, and quickly, if she didn’t want to catch a cold. A few steps in front of her was the entrance to a shop, though she wasn’t sure which shop it was. However, it looked open, and it was shelter from the rain, so Lily didn’t spend long deliberating whether to enter or not. She pushed open the door and hurried inside.

Looking around, it was fairly obvious once inside that she’d entered a pet shop. Lily had no interest in pets, but she would feel uncomfortable making it obvious that she was only waiting for the rain to stop. So she offered a smile to the man behind the till and strolled over to a cage containing what looked to be a parakeet: vibrant green in colour and chirping. Larger birds didn’t appeal to Lily, but this little one was quite cute. She was so focused on viewing the pet that she almost didn’t notice the employee approach her.

Knock Knock || Lumie & Rick

It had taken Illuminata longer than she would’ve liked to put together supplies and make her way over to Skyline Apartments. Why did the person have to live in the complex farthest from her?! And besides the distance, she had to put together a rucksack of junk for this prank! So much effort for pranking some kid she didn’t even know!

She figured it’d be worth it though.

Soon, the tall elf found herself standing outside of the apartment D400, holding a rucksack in her hands. It was filled as sorts of gross junk, like some animal poop, some raw fish, nasty pickled foods, and this slime junk she saw a recipe for! Over all, the contents were not pleasant at all! She hoped the person would have a good reaction!, haha!

Setting down the rucksack in front of the door, Illuminata gave it three quick knocks before booking it down the hall. She hid just behind the small partition between the stairwell and the hallway, sliding a small compact mirror out of her pocket and using it to get a glimpse of what happened when the stranger opened their door.
