Making Chicken and Biscuits in the slow cooker is so easy and delicious! This comforting meal is perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends. The chicken becomes tender and flavorful as it cooks low and slow, and the biscuits bake up perfectly on top, creating a hearty and satisfying dish.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup. 1 cup chicken broth. 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 can refrigerated biscuits.
Instructions: Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. In a bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Add frozen mixed vegetables on top. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. About 30 minutes before serving, remove the chicken and shred it with two forks. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker. Cut each biscuit into quarters and place them on top of the chicken mixture in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through and golden brown.
