Downriver Classic Mexican restaurant since 1979 Yes 43 Year's packin them in everyday. Original owners just reopened dining room it's really nice. Had a great fun lunch last week. I ordered one of each Taco Style a Deep Fried Puffy Taco, Corn Tortilla style and Flour Tortilla so a choice for all your favorites. She had a marvelous Double Chicken Fajitas OMG fantastic. A order of Shredded Tinga Chicken Enchiladas n Salsa Verde Sauce WOWED some of the very best ever eaten. A bowl of Charro Beans n Queso Fundidio along with the New Mexican Pizza. You gotta try this Unique Burger Cheese filled creative Mexican Pizza. It's a flavor overload in each Bite. Fast fun friendly service and greetings from owner and chef. HOT n New so excited this brand new Mexican restaurant and Market finally open. The market been open over a year now, I watched them build the addition from ground up on Fort Street next to BC'S Pizza. Number 63 Downriver known as Mexican Town 2.0. Great family owned business straight outta SW Detroit via Jalisco Mexico. Such a bright beautiful eating spot you must visit. Outstanding Lunch Specials only $5.99 gets your choice of 2 Taco's Rice n Beans was Wonderful. Flavorful Al Pastor sliced off the spit topped with Cilantro n Onions. She had a Chicken Quesadilla absolutely fantastic. I tried the Children Enchiladas in Salsa Verde WOW some of the very best ever eaten. Also Chicken Enchiladas in Red Sauce awesome without the heat. A Mexican meal without Tacos, yeah you heard it right. A favorite decades old Mexican restaurant fully remodeled and open for dining inside, the do a massive amount of take out orders. Started with the Queso Fundidio be Chorizo topped hot Queso Cheese mixture always outstanding. A very Chunky Guacamole the way it should always be made Wonderful. My addiction the Shredded Chicken Enchiladas slathered with Salsa Verde the best around town. A Shredded Beef mega Botona OMG so unique so enjoyable. We all shared and had leftovers. The very best ever Shredded Chicken Tinga smoothered in Salsa Verde ordered a 6 pack OMG fantastic. A 6 pack of Tacos Al Pastor n Campachano be mixed Steak n Chorizo Wonderful Delicious with Sauteed Onions n Jalapeno. Started with Pico, Guacamole n 3 Salsa's Love them all.
