yes that is true if we’re focusing on dom - i’m not saying we should forget about arthur. all im saying is that we have mentions every other week, a memorial garden, anniversary’s - which is all well and good except no other character has ever been given that. jasmine died more recently in horrible circumstances and has barely had a mention. she didn’t even get an on screen funeral. i know she wasn’t on the show for as long, but characters who loved her are still around like jac and morven but she doesn’t get the same treatment. 

the same goes for tara - ollie’s wife was brought in solely to die from her tumor and for oliver’s development and eventual exit. she’s mentioned all the time as a well liked doctor though she wasn’t in it for long. but penny, his sister, who many of them knew for a lot longer, is never mentioned. despite the fact her and oliver were so close for so many years.

basically what im saying is the holby writers always choose to focus on certain character deaths and ignore others - usually the ones they consider to be more tragic and more able to wring out for on screen emotion and im pretty tired of it. i just want them to give more equal treatment to the characters and their actors.

Urgh, 70s? Too modern.

I know, right!? I can bear the 1950s as long as it’s flamingo bath-taps weird, get on well with the 1920s/30s shabby-chic, but ugly bath mats and melamine kitchenware don’t do it for me.

I need to reinstall NL. Uninstalled it (backed up) because I wanted to play the Spirit of Justice. :(

I brutally deleted my old game for a completely fresh start. Did so much stuff wrong the first time!

...of course, I don’t think I have the patience to catch the rare stuff anymore.

It probably is a bandwagon thing. EVERYONE at work has borrowed so and so’s copy xD I think there’s a huge share fest. I’ve had a flick through my colleague’s new copy. It’s fairly well written. Not online crap. But the reviews are VERY mixed.

Also you can tell her that Asda are selling it for £3.

That's what my friend was saying; that it was becoming like a book club in her work due to everyone reading it. I highly doubt anyone would be reading it in my place of work, I'd be very surprised if they did...(given I work at a charity that is about spreading the pleasures of reading classic literature) Another of my friends started reading the first page out loud in WHSmith the other week and it sounded a bit dodgy, but never judge a book by its first page...(or something...)

I think she was heading there next, so she's probably snapped up a copy by now. I'm eagerly awaiting her review; who knows, it might make me curious...(hmm) (there's a trilogy of them as well? I can see how the author would get carried away though...)
