Heights!

So here we can now canonically have heights for not only co'parent Mk, but also see his height compare to @fresastar Child!au

Both Mk and shihou being small for their age, Mk being around the size of a 2 year old despite being three and shihou being the size of a 3-5 year old even though he's 7. And the liu'er is the average height for his age.

We also have baby versions

Mk is based off a pygmy marmoset, aka finger monkey, so he has to naturally be small, paring this to how Mk is hatched prematurely.

Shihou is short, being only a few inches taller, Mihou is a normal size for a baby

(Tho I can be bad at heights, but it's fine) Mk was probably way smaller when a newborn, but it's fine.)

Both sizes... Except mihou looks like a giant in the baby chart... I'm bad at sizing it's fine.

I'll probably do some more drawings like this later for co-parent, so we can see Mk next to others.

how would your au, to which you can pick any of ur au, react to my au that’s called ‘Child!au’ to which they meet my child Wukong and macaque that have an abusive home of theirs and seeing a version of a small Shihou and Mihou?

you don’t have to answer of course, just maybe a fun thing you could imagine 😅

In my shades and scales au:

Wukong and Macaque wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to adopt them.

They’d pluck them away from their abusive homes, and have rooms set up for them within an hour, designed specifically to Shihou and Mihou’s tastes, and leave them wanting for nothing.

Nüwa would take the reins regarding helping them adjust to their new life and home, as she has a much gentler presence.

Rumble, Savage, MK, Paramita, Luzhen, Bai He, Yuebei, Jidu, Luohou, Wei-Chen, Hexi and Ziqi would do whatever they can to help their new siblings feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family.

Rumble and Savage would act as their bodyguards (and would be careful not to kill in front of them).

MK would take them to all the fun places he enjoys.

Paramita would teach them everything they need to know about their new home while grooming their fur.

Luzhen would make special meditation/fidget toys to help them calm down when overwhelmed.

Bai He would tell them about her own adoption story.

Yuebei would make and embroider extra soft stuffies for them.

Jidu and Luohou would hold off on the pranks for a good while and would make them a doll house replica of the stone palace with little dolls of the family (Shihou and Mihou included of course).

Wei-Chen would craft a new story specifically for them, about two strong, brave little warriors that survived against a great evil.

Hexi and Ziqi would cling to their chests constantly, encouraging them to sit down and cuddle.

Welcome to the World {Faramir x Reader}

A.N: Ok, so my mind went immediately to having a baby with Faramir (I just spent a week with my baby cousin, and my other aunt is 9 months pregnant, so that’s probably why) and honestly I love how this turned out! I hope you like it too!

Welcome to the World

You collapsed back against your pillows, utterly exhausted. You heard the cry of a baby and strained to sit up, to gaze upon your newborn son for the first time.

You felt arms behind your back, supporting you as you sat up, and smiled.

“Thank you,” you whispered to your husband.

Faramir smiled at you. “Of course, my love. It’s the least I could do. I’m so proud of you,” he said, pressing a kiss to your forehead.

You smiled up at him as the midwife carried your baby towards you. She placed him in your arms and backed away.

“I’ll give you three a few moments,” she told you, closing the door behind herself as she left the room.

Alone as a family for the first time, you and your husband watched your son. His eyes were closed. You could see some of Faramir in him already- the way his brow was furrowed like he was concentrating very deeply on something.

“What should we name him?” Faramir asked quietly, so quietly that it seemed he was afraid to interrupt the peaceful silence that blanketed the room.

You smiled up at him.

“I was thinking Boromir,” you said.

You watched the tears fill your husband’s eyes at the name of his fallen brother, a smile spreading across his face at the name.

You passed the baby to Faramir, waiting for an answer.

“Hi Boromir,” he whispered to your child.

Boromir wiggled suddenly.

Faramir laughed. “I think he likes it!”

You giggled with him, watching the two most important people in your life, just existing together.

“Welcome to the world, Boromir,” you whispered.
