A few weeks had passed by since the adoption of Alternis Dim to the Lee family, the fateful day of being saved by the Templar Braev on the cruel slums of Florem seeming like a lifetime ago. It was different in every way in the cold land of snow, but there was just as much warmth and endless love. Mostly in the form of the Templar's young and daring daughter, Edea, who used her new brother to do her bidding in all that was play-fighting (he let her win each time, of course) or sweets. And so there the young Alternis was in search of the second, trying to find Edea's favorite sweet shop in the light blizzard that was beginning to blow in from the mountains. Crystals, he was never going to get used to the freezing weather here as he zipped his jacket as high as it could go, tugged down his hat, and snuggly wrapped his scarf an extra loop around. At least Mahzer had made sure he would be toasty warm while on his quest.
