Hi. I'd like to find records or some proof of a place torturing me during early childhood, resulting in DID. I'm diagnosed with DID, some in our system have memories of it, but don't have addresses or anything. I was born in 1965 and grew up in Los Angeles county. Are there any libraries, hospitals, or other places I can search through old records to find something? Also, were some parents told the experiments could increase their child's intelligence? My parents would never let me be tortured.

There were numerous ‘studies’ in/of intelligence during that time. You can check university sites for studies completed during the decade you’re looking for. Universities and hospitals often complete research together.

Depending on your race/ethnicity would also play a role in the experiments. They are numerous.

You can ask for your complete medical records to see if anything shows there. 

Newspapers, if you choose to search them, would use the terms ‘studies’, ‘tests’, and  ‘measures.’

Los Angeles county is huge (4,058 of land).  So perhaps narrowing it down to a city, or smaller area would be beneficial.

Parents during that time, for many reasons, allowed their children to be “tested”. They were unaware of the extent of the experiment or details of the experiments.

What is Project 10 even?

Basically the CCC found out about Tin's chaos ability when he was just a baby in an orphanage.

So the CCC just took him and eventually made a device that let them see what Tin saw in his visions, since Tin was still very young and could only say his name, forcing the poor child to experience many visions every day.

The project was called Project 10 because Tin's chaos level would spike to 10 whenever he had a vision, the CCC only seeing Tin as a number and not a child.

The project was canceled when the Toppats raided that particular CCC base and promptly destroyed said base after rescuing all the children and other projects from there because while the Toppats are criminals, they do have morals.

I hate Alzur. I hate a lot of the witcher cards. I hate Alzur's master, Cosimo Malaspina and I hate their buddy, Idarran of Ulivo.

The sheer cruelty makes my blood boil. Sure, I know that's the point. These were horrible, evil characters. But the lofe we are given to work with here just makes me want to commit murder.

I have never in my life hated characters as much as I do these ones.

I have never been as close to Lambert as I am now. Like, yes, Lambert. You, Lambert, are completely, 100% correct.

I feel so conflicted over Vesemir. One the one hand, we have this witcher mentor Geralt respects. On the other hand that I just can't get over, he let children die. He put them through horrible trials in which many of them were killed. He made them participate in the mutagen trials. He willingly let children suffer and die.

And I can't forgive that.

Mages debate on whether what they (Asszur, Idiot and Cosm-bitch) did was ethical. They aren't referring to the child experiments tho.

Like, ugh.

So many of the witcher mages are evil assholes.

I especially hate Stregabor.

These are just the people I can name from the top of my head.

And so many people and kids suffered because of them.

Sure, you can argue that the making of witchers is a sacrifice to save the world from monsters, but really?

In the end, witchers are a dying breed. Everyone hates them. Monsters keep breeding and people keep being awful human beings.

Was the end really worth the methods?

Idk man.

I just... Feel so shitty and horrified for those kids.

So many died in pain.

I can't stand it.

One specimen from my last batch of blood brothers was destroyed during the most recent attacks.

The remaining ones didn‘t stop shouting and bawling their eyes out for several minutes.

Albert Sylvio, a Duplessis orphan who lived at St. Jean de Dieu in the 1950s, tells the National Post in 2004 that he transported more than 60 bodies of fellow orphans from the operating rooms to the basement morgue: “I undressed them and washed them and prepared them for burial. We put them in cardboard boxes. Some of them were children.” He says the bodies were taken to the cemetery and buried in unmarked graves. One government registry indicates that there are about 2,000 bodies buried at the St. Jean de Dieu cemetery; at least 42 are children.

U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that it had financially aided experiments on 311 Danish children in the early 1960s. A good number of them were orphans or adopted.
