My childhood.

Growing up in a little town in the Deep South. Friends of every color. When times were simple. Neighborhood kids played kickball and hide and go seek, searched for crawdads and swimming holes, picking plums in a field near the railroad tracks, devouring cold watermelon and having seed spitting contests.

Will children every again get to experience life as carefree as this? I hope they will.
