Äntligen tog jag tag i, med plasthandskar, chiliskörden. Genom svidande lärdom har jag lärt mig att använda diskhandskar när det är dax att hantera chilis med hetta. Jag struntar helt i att torka frukterna, min metod är lite mer snabb, brutal och skoningslös. Det som behövs är en skärbräda, en vass kniv och ett gäng zip-påsar. Jag skriver helt enkelt chilinamnet och året på påsen (se bild), fyller den med chilis skuren i tunna ringar med fröer och allt, sedan är det bara skjuts in i frysen.
