True, but the way he carries himself feels kind of jock-ish to me. It’s more like Oso than Totty imo, and Oso’s definitely not a prep.

My good pal @chillamatsu murdered me with that precious Kara/Dad goodness and I got excited!~ Matsuzo loves all of his children equally but his relationship with Kara is so dynamic, it’s perfect. Special mention for Choro and Matsuyo too because they also have a great relationship that deserves more attention~~ @ the Staff, HIRE US.

choro and ichi probably. im constantly worried about smth but also im p quiet so. (and the “which bro are you most like” quizzes always give me choro or ichi lmao)

oso = kara > totty > ichi > jyushi > choro (but theyre all good though)

I'm gonna be kind of a killjoy here and wonder if these ideas for skits involving the Matsus and social media still hold up if we take Japanese culture into account. The Japanese don't do memes, for example, in the same way that Americans do.

I’m all for being a killjoy in the name of cultural accuracy though. Kara might not end up being a meme, but I think the nenchuu idea could still definitely work! Also admittedly, I’m not sure if online dating is a thing in Japan so the choukei plot may or may not be unrealistic.

I'm pretty sure Jyushi symbolizes his complete lack of a suppressed self. Inner Jyushi is identical to True Jyushi, and even though this puzzles him, it works with the fact that he's quite honest to himself about who he is.

That makes sense! Also I didn’t catch on to this at first but there seems to be a parallel with their inner selves and their self-consciousness/awareness orbs (more obvious with Choro of course, but Jyushi’s having space designs and Kara’s having broken glass are other examples).

Totty’s though... according to both translations here, it sounds like his inner self is the part of him that warns him about knowing his place (as the youngest, as the bottom of the social hierarchy, etc.). That could make sense considering how similar he is to both Oso and Choro at times, since all three of theirs can boil down to “why bother/care so much.”

There are online dating apps in Japan, although I don't think how common it is to use them. The nenchuu idea definitely is feasible! Bonus if Ichi's Twitter is an art Twitter of some sorts with drawings of cats and Choro thinks he's this mega-talented mangaka in-training when the reality is waaaaaaay far from that.
