I'm pretty sure Jyushi symbolizes his complete lack of a suppressed self. Inner Jyushi is identical to True Jyushi, and even though this puzzles him, it works with the fact that he's quite honest to himself about who he is.
That makes sense! Also I didn’t catch on to this at first but there seems to be a parallel with their inner selves and their self-consciousness/awareness orbs (more obvious with Choro of course, but Jyushi’s having space designs and Kara’s having broken glass are other examples).
Totty’s though... according to both translations here, it sounds like his inner self is the part of him that warns him about knowing his place (as the youngest, as the bottom of the social hierarchy, etc.). That could make sense considering how similar he is to both Oso and Choro at times, since all three of theirs can boil down to “why bother/care so much.”
