I like to think Perpetua subconsciously finds the darkest, shadiest part of a room and that's where he stands. He doesn't do it on purpose but every time he's in a room he is always in the darkest part of the room.
It gets to the point where people don't even realise he's in the room until he says something or emerges from the shadows.
Also, I like to think Copia is the exact opposite. He's like a cat that finds any spot of sunlight, basks in it and slowly, subconsciously, follows it.
They're opposites and I love them
