i 100% agree with genderfluid/flux zenji. in my brain he’ll respond to anything you use for him. you can make up your own pronouns on the spot he’ll love it. i feel like he doesn’t see himself as presenting as any which-way either — not wholly masculine, not wholly feminine, he’s just zenji!
jiro is very he/they/it to me. i feel like he doesn’t put a lot of thought into gender most of the time — if he had to put a name on it, he’d say he’s masculine, but not quite a man. some odd in-between. (i see him as agender, but i don’t think he would try to label himself unless he somehow learned about the term itself.)
honestly i could see some general student referring to him as “it” (see: the whole “Frankenstein” thing) and… not really being offended. that’s an option? people can be an “it”? hm.
