black holes have been my favourite space things since i was tiny, do you know anything neat to share about them?

did u kno that when they did the calculations for the visuals in interstellar they made VERY NEW DISCOVERIES about what a black hole will look like. it’s true. watch that movie and be amazed at this cutting-edge science that they discovered while trying to make this thing look mathematically accurate.

black holes distort spacetime so much that getting close to one will make time pass really slowly for you. don’t go near one if you intend on going home ever, because your home will probably be gone by the time you leave. this is also in interstellar GO WATCH THAT MOVIE

we don’t really understand what the fuck is going on inside of black holes because they require an understanding of how gravity works at the quantum level and wHOOOOOPS relativity (the framework we use to describe gravity) is grossly incompatible with quantum mechanics (the framework we use to describe very small things). we just don’t understand these things. if we can figure out black holes we will probably figure out a lot about the universe but in the meantime we’re just like ?????WELP??????

black holes are collapsed stars, and most of them are what we call stellar black holes, which obvs are black holes with the mass of a star. we also know of supermassive black holes, which are WAY MORE MASSIVE THAN THAT (from sucking up matter) and they exist in the cores of galaxies. probably there is another form of black hole that is an intermediate size but ????where are they???? it’s a mystery

Okay I'm giving in to the urge to say that TPOH is one of the few comics I feel totally invested in and, like, really worked up over? I really want things to end well for hero, but I suspect they wont, so every time we get a nice page like this, theres a niggling doubt lurking in my happiness. It's just amazing how likable and real everyone in the story is. However it ends, I sure won't ever forget the ride! Thank you so much for writing such a great story, it's the highlight of my day :)

She has a parasitic twin whose front limbs protrude from her back. She dyes her platinum blonde hair a lot, mostly with shades of pink and light green. She has a tendency to fall for men who are more or less older than her. She has a strong voice and she swears a lot. She has a fascination for firearms.

29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?

When she was younger she used to live for those quiet, homey moments she shared with Fonda. Both of them were sideshow attractions and circus life was wearing, even humiliating. Being able to find solace away from people’s stares was relieving. Leaving show business left her with a feeling of emptiness which then lead to sensation seeking.

bisexual means attracted to your own and other genders, for example: a girl who likes girls and agender folks but doesnt usually find guys too attractive, or a genderfluid person who likes all genders! pansexual means that someone's gender identity doesn't influence whether or not you find them attractive! so if you see someone hot and they say 'im a guy!' you're still just as interested as you would be if they said 'im a lady!' Hope that helps :D (this definition doesn't ignore non binary folk)

i can whistle breathing out and breathing in, and im learning how to whistle and hum at the same time (im not very good yet tho)

Oooh. I learned to whistle when I was 12 (not for lack of trying beforehand), and when I got my braces off at 13, I found that I couldn't whistle anymore.  I finally re-learned it a few years ago, but I still can't hit the same notes I used to be able to! XD
