2020 has been an absolute rollercoaster of a year, as the world recovers from a depression — both literally and figuratively. This only makes festive occasions all the more precious, as we realise who the most important people in our lives are: family. Being the only immediate kin I have, my mother has been the person I've spent the most time with over the last few years. This year has made that the case even more so, due to us being responsible people and staying home almost 24/7. Taking the time to head out to Chinatown was a welcome break from the routine of staying home, made even more special by her agreeing to be photographed — trust me, this is especially rare. As such, I'll be spending this Mid-Autumn Festival 2020 with the most important person in my life, as she rounds out her last few decades here with me. @Chinatown_Festivals #ChinatownMAF2020 #SingapoRediscovers #ChinatownSG (at Home is where the heart is) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFpVHRnFkpK/?igshid=152dol35v9tml
