Hello everyone! I made a discord server not too long ago primarily for language learning! It can be any language and it is a close knit supportive group of people to help on your language journey!
It is new so it is constantly being worked on and moderated. It is a sfw 18+ server and has a very diverse group of people.
You can also talk in general, share anything creative, share your music, share positivity, info dump and share your resources and notes. There is plenty of space and room to study and it creates a productive and calm environment. Making beginners in any language feel more comfortable speaking the language.
Sharing about your interests and nerdy thoughts is 100% welcome and encouraged! This is a place you can express yourself and feel comfortable! You may even make friends!
If you are interested join from this link below:
Check out the Sesquipedalianism community on Discord - hang out with 67 other members and enjoy free voice and text chat.
Please feel free to introduce yourself and start conversations! Even if you’re a little shy, we will support you through your journey!
And as always read the rules and follow them,
Happy learning <3

It's interesting how there'll still be a relatively large language gap when it comes to learning languages (Chinese in my case) despite studying for a while. Watching movies with Chinese subtitles is a lesson in itself as I keep learning new vocab and phrases that I never even knew were a thing.
E.g.: 告辞 (Gàocí) is apparently a relatively common way of saying goodbye/I'm leaving/I'll take my leave now, usually used in polite or formal settings which is something I will be adding to my vocab
