The Zhu Jiang (口龍) or Pearl River is an extensive river system in China, so named because of the pearl coloured shells that lie at the bottom of the river-section that flows through the city of Guangzhou. It is the second largest (In volume) in China, today the Estuary of this river is regularly dredged to keep it open to ocean vessels, sadly it is also one of the most polluted rivers in the world. The dragon guarding this river would have been pushed to the very edges of it's territory, having to adapt to its ever changing environment and adorning itself with sunken shipping vessels and nets as camouflage. - The next two dragons (Yellow and Black) are works in progress, Patreon supporters will be able to watch as they are produced :) #dragon #chinesedragons #heretherebedragons
