The literal Seventh Doctor hanging-off-a-cliff cliffhanger in Dragonfire is still one of the funniest things Doctor Who has ever done because that is just... entirely his fault.

Man climbs over the railing, hangs there by his umbrella over an enormous drop, and only then seems to realize this may have been a tactical miscalculation.

Congratulations, you vaudevillian rubber-hose rogue, that's the worst anyone has ever done it.
