L’expression d’une distance, de l’éloignement ou de la proximité entre un point et un autre se construit avec la préposition 离 lí placée entre le sujet et l’objet de la proposition selon la structure ci-dessous.
The expression of a distance, or proximity between one point and another is constructed with the preposition 离 lí , placed between the subject and the object according to the structure below.
« Subjet + 离 lí + object + (有 yǒu) + distance »
我们宿舍离食堂不远 。 Notre dortoir n’est pas loin du réfectoire // Our dormitory isn’t far from the dinning hall.
这儿离老王的家有多远? 两公里左右。 La maison de vieux Wang est-elle loin d’ici ? Elle est environ à deux kilomètres. // How far is it from Lao Wang's house? About two kilometers.
公里 : gōnglǐ : kilomètre // kilometers 左右 : zuǒyòu : placé directement après un chiffre, indique une approximation // approximately, about, around.
飞机场离市中心很远 。 L’aéroport est loin du centre-ville. // The airport is far from the city center.
飞机场 : fēijīchāng : aéroport // airport 飞机 : fēijī : avion // plane 市中心 : shìzhōngxīn : centre ville // city center
离学校很近。 Proche de l’école. // Close to the school.
我们村离车站很近。 Notre village est proche de la gare.// Our village is very close to the train station
村 : cūn : village ; hameau // village, small city (Cf. 村子 cūnzi) 车站 : chēzhàn : gare ; station // station, train station
那儿离这儿还一个小时的路。 De là-bas jusqu’ici il y a encore une heure de route. // From here to there there is still one hour drive.
N.B. : l’usage de cette préposition s’applique généralement à un lieu, mais elle peut aussi s’appliquer au temps ou à un but encore non atteint, comme dans les exemples ci-dessous :
The use of this preposition generally applies to a place, but it can also apply to time or to a goal not yet reached, as in the examples below:
离开车还有两小时。 Il y a encore deux heures jusqu’au départ du train. // There is still two hours before the departure of the train.
我们的成绩离老师的要求还有距离。 Il existe encore un écart entre nos résultats et les exigences du professeur. // Our grades are still far from the teacher's requirements.
