I took a photo class this semester and my final project was photographing animals and their habitats. This is the first set of images in the series. This Mantis I found on a rock up this very foggy mountain. It was a surprisingly cooperative subject and let me take lots of photos. While this Mantis is not a native species (it’s a Chinese Mantis), it’s still a cool animal to see! The foggy mountain was hard to capture, but I think the photo I have does it some justice.
