Chip Card Pointers

*If the transaction is over and the card reader starts beeping take your card out. Don't just stare at it and wait for it to beep three whole times. It says to remove the card on the screen.

*Most places that DON'T accept chip have some sort of sign on the card reader that either blocks the chip slot or informs you that you cannot use chip there. This means that if it looks like it takes a chip and there's nothing and no one telling you otherwise then go ahead and chip.

*I answer this question 100 times a day.

*The insert 3 times then slide trick doesn't work at all stores.
