Everyone's got a different theory about how Sonic will react to seeing Amy for the first time. Most Sonamy fans (especially those who are hoping for Reverse Sonamy) are expecting Sonic to be instantly smitten with the brave and pretty hedgehog teen who saved his life. This is a possibility considering Amy is the first girl hedgehog he's ever met and first teen alien girl.
As a result, he either acts all shy and awkward around her like a teen boy with a crush on a girl that he likes. Plus, it could be a play on his early game counterpart running away from Amy, only this time it's because he feels shy and awkward around her and not because he sees her as an annoyance (or acts like he does). I admit it's pretty cute.
There's also the possibility that Sonic acts like a show-off in hopes of impressing Amy. I definitely imagine him looking in like a total dork in the process, which Amy finds cute. I imagine a lot of flirtatious banter going on between them.

Another theory given is that perhaps there might not be an instant attraction from Sonic when he meets Amy. One discussion I had with @lucidheart3 hinted that maybe Sonic might be more wary of Amy as his traumatic experience with Shadow probably makes him more suspicious of her and her intentions. I considered the option that maybe he acts annoyed by Amy, and it's Tails and Knuckles who pick up on his growing but still denied attraction to her.

Maybe like @ficsinhistory's theories, perhaps Sonic and Amy's mutual attraction grows as result of mutual understanding and empathy between them and the hardships they've both faced. I find this idea very sweet honestly and believe it could create a stronger connection between the two hedgehog teens.
Honestly, I could see all of theories possibly happening, whether as separate options or all together as a group. Still, I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you believe is most likely to happen in Sonic 4.
Another Sonamy introduction I could see happening in Sonic 4. Very cute and in character for both Sonic (at least in the SCU) and Amy. 😁🥰
Does anyone know who drew this comic? I think the comic itself is brilliant, but the dub of the comic....no offense to the recording artist...but I think the timing and tone could use some work. 🫤
I could definitely see Metal Sonic and his duplicates rebuilding themselves. Also, Amy Rose's introduction being interuppted could work. Maybe she'll be introduced through her line "Have no fear... Amy Rose is here!"
I can see Sonic and Amy working together and discovering they make a great team... in more ways than one. 😏🤭😉 Either way, the two see they have chemistry.

Sonamy is my top Sonic ship (though more so the more modern interpretations of the ship). I look forward to seeing how their relationship will be written in the SCU.
My second favourite is Knuxouge, a tumultous but entertaining pair that I think have good couple potential when they learn to better trust each other. Their mutual attraction is so obvious even when they're constantly bickering, lol. 😁🥰🤞
I have more Sonic ships I like but these are my top ones. I look forward to seeing them in the SCU as I said.

I haven't read many Sonic fanfictions besides yours and @iwasbored777's. So far though I'm liking The Fruit of Our Love by @iwasbored777. I'm looking forward to meeting the Sonamy little ones and finding out where the Knuxouge ship will be taken.

What was Knuckles relationship with Tikal in the SCU?
I'm planning a post about Tikal the Echidna (Chief Pachacamac's daughter), but thought I'd ask for your thoughts about what the relationship was between her and Knuckles back when the Echidna tribe was still around.
I imagine she was a teenager when Knuckles was a child (I'd say he was 5 to 6 when his tribe perished). I also imagine she used to babysit and tutor Young Knuckles in the history of their tribe, their war with the Owls and the knowledge of the Master Emerald.
Here are my thoughts:
They had a brotherly and sisterly relationship to the point where they affectionately called each other "little brother" and "big sister".
Knuckles had a huge little boy crush on Princess Tikal, but she only had a big sisterly fondness for him.
There has been a lot of speculation about whether or not Knuckles and Tikal might be related to each other due to coming from the same tribe (I'm certainly not supporting incest if they are relatives). Some speculate that in the Game universe, Tikal could be Knuckles aunt and some Youtube fan videos have called her "Knuckles sister", but I don't believe those rumour have been confirmed in canon. While Chief Pachacamac does have a grandfatherly vibe to him in the Knuckles tv series, as far as I know he nor his relatives are biologically related to Knuckles. I'm going to assume for now that Pachacamac and Tikal were not relatives of Knuckles.
If I go for sister option, I imagine her and Young Knuckles relationship being a mirror to Knuckles and Sonic's relationship in that both pairs of opposites who may disagree at times, but ultimately are willing to pull through for each other and their friendship.
If I go for the one-sided crush on Tikal, I could see it acting as foil to his and Rouge's mutual belligerent sexual tension and secret romantic attraction. I imagine that despite Knuckles being too young for Tikal at the time, had her and the tribe still been physically alive when he came of age he could have become one of the many suitors for Tikal's hand in marriage (if she hadn't found someone by then). Though I believe she would have still seen him more as a little brother than a potential husband/mate. Tikal, I'm sure would been the woman that Knuckles father approved of for his son. Rouge, he wouldn't have approved of for her shady background and to a lesser extent because she's not an echidna. While inter-alien species relationships aren't unheard of in the echidna tribe (one of their former leaders may have married a hedgehog like in the Archie comics 😉), it may be frowned upon as they prefer to keep the strength of their tribe through marrying within their tribe.
Though Knuckles may act prejudice towards Rouge at first, I could see him overcoming it and growing to love and respect Rouge for her fighting strength and her cleverness. Plus her ability to fly is also pretty hot. 😏❤️ He'll definitely be in denial about his attraction to Rouge for awhile though.
