So yesterday I made another trip to the various Hot Topics in Ottawa. I went to try on the new 'Magical Beasts and Where to Find Them' clothing collection, and thought they were totally awesome, the Seraphina dress that I had really wanted was a bitto opulent for me for every day wear, and the Queenie dress, though another beautiful, light flapper dress; I couldn't find one that fit me comfortably. And to be honest, I couldn't see myself wearing a baby pink dress. Instead I managed to find some more Once Upon a Time jewelry. Here's the Rumplestilskin multi charm necklace. It of course has a miniature Dark One dagger, a beautiful little ruby Crystal, and a disk saying 'All Magic Comes With a Price'; you also find a cute little reproduction of Belle's chipped tea cup. #onceuponatime #necklace #rumplestiltskin #belle #charms #darkonedagger #chippedteacup #allmagiccomeswithaprice #hottopic

So, it's been three weeks since I got this tattoo (thanks to Heather at The Taste of Ink in London, Ontario for the amazing work!) and I thought it was time to share it here. Other than being a tribute to my two favourite characters on my favourite tv show and my OTP, but it's also there to give me hope. Like many people, I struggle with depression and anxiety disorder and find myself closed off from people, including my closest friends and family. I felt like no one understood that I felt different, odd, and ashamed of who I am. And then I stumbled upon Once Upon a Time and like Belle for Rumple it has become the light in my life. A place that gives me hope when I feel like I have nothing else. This tattoo was one of the easiest decisions I have ever made and although some people, including my own parents, look at me funny and display their disdain when I explain where it came from, I am so proud to have it. Hopefully by sharing this and a small part of my story other will have hope and know that there are others out there suffering too. People who are willing to talk to you any time and be there for you, even if you're strangers on the internet. Living with mental illness can be a really lonely world, but it doesn't have to be. And now I have a beautiful and permanent reminder that things will get better, that it is absolutely okay not to be okay, and that no one needs to be or can be perfect. Everyone is flawed, but those flaws don't define you.
Slightly Chipped Teacup Ch.2:The Red Hearted Ruler
Down the stair well the school seemed much livelier, the halls were brighter and there where students. But most uniformed hall monitors, to make sure the students behaved. Alice looked around at the slightly familiar soundings, when she heard giggling behind her "Oooo~ look girls a new girl.", "Ignore her, Lilly. She doesn't fit in with out garden." "Yeah, she's a total weed". Alice turned to see a huddle of flowers obviously talked about her, she smirked "I never wanted to be in your garden, because you guys have 'cross pollinated' way too many times to count." In reality they where the cheer leaders in colorful dresses and green pom-poms "D-did she just call us sluts…?" the daffodil asked out loud "I'm going let you figure that one out…oh and have fun avoiding the caterpillar this time of year." The girls gave a viable shudder at the comment. "Make way!!" one the hall monitors yelled, instantly they way parted to the walls "Make way for your class president! Rouge Coeur!" they all stood at attention as a very authoritative girl came down the hall, smooth black hair and red lipstick made for look somewhat intimidating, Whitey slicked behind her looking like a dog that had been newly neutered. Alice's head rushes and for a moment she saw the Red Queen fallowed by her white rabbit servant, but these thoughts were interrupted when she knocked to the gourd again "Are you blind!?" a harsh voice yelled as Rouge glared wiped off her skirt "I-I'm sorry—" "No one cuts off the president!! Take her away!" Alice gasped as the burly looking ace cards headed toward her "M-My Lady!" Whitey cut unmaking the two cards pause and looked at him "P-please reconsider, Lady Rough……She's new here, and besides, You'll be late for class" the albino look like he was about to piss himself in fear as Rough glared at him "…………Very well." She turned to Alice "I grant you mercy." With a snap of her finger the cards retreated and the 'queen' continued her perception down the hall. "I-I should have warned you about Lady Rough…her law is absolute down here. Just try to stay out of her way…She's quick to punish anyone who crosses her." Whitey explained, "Yeah, I noticed, I'm grateful the queen gave me mercy~!" Alice said dramatically. Just then the warning bell rang two minuets till class! Whitey jumped at the sound "Oh my! We're going to be late!" he nudged Alice lightly "Go on now,no time to wait! You want makes good impression right?" with that he disaapered down the hall again, a white blur.
Slightly Chipped Teacup Ch.1 : It can't be..
"You've defiantly progressed Miss Liddell; maybe it is time that you can go back to school"…."Be on your best behavior, Dear. We want you to stay here" …"Have I seen this place before….?" All of these thoughts and more echoed through Alice Liddell's mind as she walks up the cracked sidewalk to the hulking school Rutledge Alternative High school the sign "….More like delinquent farm…." Aunt Celia's voice echoed though her mind. Alice exhaled, running a hand through her hair as she tried to dismiss the voices and pushes the heavy doors school doors open. The hall way was made of cheap marble that was black and white tiled "No...No! I can't be….It just can't…" her mind screamed as Alice slowly made her way down the hall, but she had little time to tamp down her memories before a flash of white and a sudden impact, knocking the girl to the floor "Hey! Watch it!" she scaled rubbing her now sore head "O-oh my! I-Imp so sorry" a boy's voice stammered. Alice moved her burnet hair from her face to see a very nervous looking albino; he was about her age, with pale skin, red eye, and slightly fluffy white hair. He was shaking slightly as he gathered up the books he dropped on impact "I wasn't paying attention. A-are you alright?"Ha asked adjusting his spectacles (that look more suited for a grandmother than a teenage boy) "I'm fine, Thank you." Alice picked herself up from the floor "I don't think we've met. I'm Meryan Blanc, but everyone calls me Whitey." The albino smiles slightly to revile a set of braces trying to correct his slightly buck teeth. Alice smiled back, it was reliefs to see the first person don't try to stab her for sell her crake "I'm Alice Liddell, a pleasure to meet you." She tried to come off polite has possible. Suddenly the moment was broken by a sharp ring of an alarm clock. Whitey dug into his pocket and pulled out the source of the sound; an old dented pocket watch. Whitey looked as he was going to have a panic attack as he open the cover and looked at the time "Oh damn…" Alice tilted head "What—" "I'm going to be late!!" with that Alice's new aquatints bolted past her and down the seemingly endless stair well. Alice just stood there, dumb-stunk about what she just and all too familiar phrase running though her mind….."I shall be late" a voice whispered. Alice turned to face the mouth of the stair well, heart pounding in her chest "Get a grip on yourself, Alice..." she told herself out loud "You know what's real…and what's" gripping the hand rail with slightly sweaty hands Alice Liddell took the first step into darkness.
