Alastor's response is nothing but a stark silence, at first, the mug in hand tilted towards his mouth as he siiipps casually from where he leans in the kitchen. It is not often that he allows his finely crafted veil of put-together-hotelier to slip, but every so often, when sleep continues to evade him, there are certain levels of crank that can seep their way through.

Today is such a day.

The question is one that is laced with some level of sarcasm, though he keeps himself from venturing too far into the dangerous part of letting her see him too much for what he actually is.

The secondary statement is said slightly less... touchy.

Perhaps it was fair that she asked-- he didn't quite look like Adam nor the exorcists. That is because he was one of a one of a kind troop of angels. Four brothers, the very first made. He was her uncle.

" Indeed. " He answers with a raised flat palm. A common angel greeting, though an old fashion one. " And you are the... mmh. " He seemed to pause at what exactly to address her as. It is not common for the angel to refer to beings in Hell by their name, but he does not know what more to call such a creature. " ...The Morningstar child? " Not 'you are my niece?', not 'you are my brother's child?'

" Be not afraid. " Right this moment, that is. But is that not always true of this particular biblical figure and his famous phrase. " I am the Archangel Gabriel. I am going to enter your hotel. " He kindly states into fact, like prophecy. Not 'may I enter', not 'is it okay'-- I am going to. As polite but inevitable as a storm announcing its presence on the horizon with a clap of thunder.
