Sonic games have never been about story, I don’t know where criticisms of Heroes and Lost World come from with that. Sonic stories are dumb, doesn’t make ‘em less fun 8P Give us just enough to explore the setting, let the rest of the focus just be on gameplay, that’s all I need.
the criticisms for heroes and lost world come from the writing being cheesy or like shit if u really hate pontac and graffen that much, and or repetitive in heroes case. before adventure 1 the story was like “lol eggmans up to no good go stop him” yet some fans want some big bombastic story on like the levels of metal gear solid in terms of seriousness. but its a story about a fucking blue hedgehog that goes fast LMAO
