What is a destination? She does not know. For Kazue, is there something at the destination resembling happiness? Is happiness not the accumulation of the present circumstances upon which one builds, or, rather, is happiness something that lies ahead after she gets through her present circumstances? Is the surging ahead the only thing for Kazue? Is she merely going forward restlessly without even being conscious of the something ahead? Is it mere animal strength? Kazue does not know.

you have no idea how long i've been waiting to post about ango and an oc daughter i love them sm (pt 1)

meet chiyo uno, ability is called "cherry is dead" (or confessions of love, but i can't decide)

her ability allows her to see ghosts, and make others see ghosts depending how long that other has been. that other also has to be the target's most missed person.

there's a time limit, one month is one minute of being able to see the ghost. for example:

ango misses odasaku more than anything, oda has been dead for 4 years. if chiyo uses her ability on ango, he'll be able to see oda's ghost for 48 minutes. (where do those 48 minutes come from? well, it pulls away 48 minutes of ango's life.)

chiyo only uses her ability as a defense mechanism, or a distraction.

now known as chiyo sakaguchi, chiyo is 19 and ango adopted her to cope with odasaku's death. he was considering to send her back to the orphanage because dear lord he cannot manage time but like broo he felt like oda would REALLY not like that, and now at present day chiyo also works for the special division. she's ango's personal bodyguard and her duty is to keep him safe.

(ango doesn't like it at first but ultimately he wants to support chiyo because she really wanted to do this.)

I really enjoyed how spare the writing in The Story of a Single Woman was. Kazue lives her life on her own terms, for better or for worse, regardless of how it effects everyone else.

Unfortunately, as interested as I am in Uno Chiyo's other works, they do not seem to be easy to find .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.

I read the last Jane Austen novel I had left as I turned 30, I discovered Japanese literature and I played some of the most interesting plays inside my bedroom, as I fell even more in love with Guimerà, I also travelled the Perdido route, and I lived, laughed and loved art with Duchamp.
