Tyron's left for work. Candice stayed at home ruminating on his reaction. Go to sleep somewhere else? She would if she could, but she surely can’t go to Jasper's house. She hasn't heard from him since she announced him that she'd filed for divorce. He hasn't checked at the fire station either. Coworkers said he asked for a few days off. Now that is unusual. She'll have to call him and find out what's going on.

Candice: Not really, I've come early to sleep before. I just hope you don't mind sleeping next to me tonight, and for the time left before the divorce. (It's no secret to anyone that Tyron is still in love with Candice, having her so close, and dressed like that, would be a little difficult, so…)

Tyron: Uh, don't worry, I've already moved to one of the bedrooms upstairs.

Tyron: Candice, what's up? I thought you were out there, putting out fires. No pun intended. Candice: *Scoffs*. Sure… Well, there hasn't been much to do today, and I just wanted to know if Brandi's okay. Tyron: She's fine, she already had dinner and now is playing with Dana, her babysitter. Candice: You got her a babysitter? Wow, that was fast.

Tyron: Candice, I'm pretty busy, you know? I still have to do the dishes and finish dinner, so… Candice: You made dinner? God, I'm starving! I have an hour off, so - can I come over and join you? If you don't mind of course. Tyron: If you don't mind dining with your ex-husband-to-be. Candice: It's no problem for me. Is it for you?

Later that Evening...

Since Candice is on duty at the fire station, (and to be honest, who knows if she'll be coming home today) it was Tyron's turn to watch Brandi and a chance for him to practice being Dad. Tyron: Okay, Brand, here's your dinner. Yeah, don't judge, I'm gonna fix you something better, but you gotta give me time.

Brandi takes it very cautiously and decides to try her food first.

She seems to have approved, thank goodness she's not difficult with food, that's one thing she's similar to Tyron.

Candice is right, their marriage is dead, not because of him, of course. The only thing Tyron is worried about is losing Brandi. Of course, when the judge learns that Candice has been cheating, he's sure to rule in his favor.

Though he has no idea how to take care of a little girl. He'll need to figure it out if he wants to prove he's fit for it. Maybe he should call Terence to ask him for advice? Their children are the same age, and he's heard he's an excellent father. It might be a good idea to ask him for a qualified lawyer too. 🤔
