I've been super busy ever since the move; working with an awesome fashion designer and trying to unpack and sort everything, but in the next week or two I hope to be back to a full but more manageable schedule. Sorry for being boring, but here's a bit about what I've been doing/plan to be doing soon.

My studio is almost completely organised and I've been pretty ruthless with my supplies that I've horded over the years. Whatever I won't use in 6 months is being donated, and I might have a supply give away here (what do you think?) I have a vision in my head of ultra organised, clearly labeled and stacked everything, but I'm not sure if I can make it a reality. I'd like to take a day or two maybe next week to try it. Does anyone have some supply organising tips/ideas or studio inspiration pics? :)

I'm going to be busy working with this fashion designer for the rest of the year (perhaps longer), which is very exciting, and soon I'll be organising an online portfolio for my pattern making and other fashion manufacture services, so hopefully I can pick up another long-term designer or just some batch work. I'm also looking for another casual retail job closer to home, just to break up the week and get me out and about to keep the cabin fever at bay. If anyone knows some Sydney designers in need, please lemme know!

I should be sharing a table at the Other Worlds zine fair in May with some awesome people, which I'm really looking forward to. I'd love to have at least one new zine completed for it along with my other old ones, and I'll be offering discounted bundles for buying the lot. I've got so many ideas, but haven't been able to set aside the time to get into them lately. I'll post more details about the event as I know more.

The shop is going well, I've been sending out orders 3 times a week and I'll be screening more patches to replenish stock tomorrow. I'm hoping to work on some new items soon and also get my storenvy shop back to normal, for now it's just stocking my art prints. I've got a few trades in the works at the moment, after taking a long break from them, and I'd like to get them finished before I take anything else on - but I'm hoping to work out time to get back into trades and writing to pen pals.

Soon I'll be having another give away competition, perhaps for some original art, a gift certificate, or some new products? I'm also keen to look into 'sponsoring/collaborating' with some bloggers and other independent crafters, exchanging products and promotion etc. If you'd be interested in this, please email me at [email protected] ! Some people have already messaged me about this and I'm going to hold onto those expressions of interest and also make a bigger post about it with more info, then I'll start on figuring out who's a good fit to work with. :)

For now I'm going to try to switch my brain off by taking my partner and BFF5eva out for dinner (she has the cabin fever also), followed by late night shopping, and grocery shopping (that last part, how fun). I need to work out some regular work hours and stick to them so I can have nights/days off. It's hard when you work from home and enjoy it - I can't clock off at a reasonable hour. :P

I'm working on a website which will serve as an online catalogue for my products so that stores and distros who are interested in retailing my work can check it all out, see the prices and then get in contact with me to order.

I'm still working on it, but I'm gonna call it a night. Let me know if anything is hard to see/looks odd/or sounds too confusing cos I wanna make it as accessible/easy to understand as possible. There's a lot more available stock to be added to the catalogue, but I'm still finding out the best way to do that.

I'm going to Melbourne during the first week of September and I'll be bringing some of my work with me to show potential retailers - if you know any stores in the area you think would like my stuff please let me know. I'll also be doing a zine market and an art market in Sydney towards the middle/end of September if any retailers wanna come by and check out the merchandise in the flesh.

Hey everyone!

Lately I've been thinking about branching out offline and retailing in stores (on consignment) with my products. I'm currently stocking some of my stuff at a local store in Wollongong, Kittipilla, and I've worked with other store owners before so I'm not green on this.

But what I wanna know is - where do you want my stuff? Is there anywhere local, maybe a cafe, zine shop, or handmade goods store that you frequent and would like to see my work there for sale? You will save on postage cost and I'm hoping to boost my exposure. I'm open for suggestions from all over the world, though where I stock things will mostly depend on postage costs. I'm mostly hoping to get my zines out there with this one.

I'm hoping to compile a list from your suggestions of places I'll approach about having my work in on consignment, but if you want to suggest my work to store owners so they can contact me about it, that would also be rad!
